Stray Support Guidelines
At Al Barsha Veterinary Clinic, we are committed to supporting responsible stray population management through our annual Free Spay-a-Stray Campaign.
Eligibility
- Only genuine stray cats and stray rabbits are accepted under the Free Spay-a-Stray Campaign.
- Owned pets are not eligible for free Spay-a-Stray services and should be booked under standard services with 26% Discount valid from Feb 1-28, 2026.
Booking & Appointments
- Prior booking is mandatory. Walk-ins will not be accepted.
- All stray animals must have a confirmed appointment before being brought to the clinic.
- Slots are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Clients who have used ABVC services within the past three (3) years will be prioritized.
Drop-Off Requirements
- Designated drop-off time is 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM.
- Late arrivals may result in cancellation or rescheduling of the appointment.
- Animals must be safely trapped and securely transported.
- For the safety of all pets, all animals must stayed inside a cage or carrier while in the clinic and waiting area.
Animal Condition & Safety
- To ensure the best possible care, stray pets that are in poor physical condition or deemed unfit for surgery will not be accepted for spay or neuter procedures.
- This precaution is in place to protect the animal’s safety and to prevent any potential complications during surgery.
Conduct
- Please be respectful to our staff at all times. Polite communication ensures a smooth and positive experience for everyone.
Identification
- All spayed/neutered cats will have their left ear tipped as a standard and internationally recognized identification method for neutered stray animals.
Terms & Conditions apply
- This campaign is valid only during the month of February 2026, the official Free Spay-a-Stray Campaign period.
- ABVC reserves the right to refuse any animal that does not meet the campaign criteria.
- The campaign follows all ABVC stray support policies and clinic protocols.
- Guidelines may be updated without prior notice based on operational requirements.
